With a two decade legacy, Music Lodge is an exclusive, must-stop venue for A-List guests and media appointments during Sundance. WHY SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL?

There are five crown jewels amongst the global film festival scene which are: Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, and Toronto International Film Festival. With Sundance being a short flight away from Hollywood, it has a strong attendance of all aspects of the entertainment industry with a wide range of talent.

WHO ATTENDS?

Star Power: As a major daytime media hub for nearly two decades, Music Lodge has sustainably drawn 95% of the stars annually attending the Sundance Film Festival. 

Global Influence: Iconic film and TV stars, musicians, entertainment execs, filmmakers, directors and corporate CEOs attend the festival and the Music Lodge. 125,000 people attended in 2019's festival and $191.6 million dollars were generated by Sundance.

Worldwide Press: “Over 950 press were accredited to attend the 2019 Festival from 22 different countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Dubai, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russia, S Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Venezuela.” www.sundance.org..

​Music Lodge celebrates its 21st year legacy event of being held during the Sundance Film Festival with a full night of music on January 23rd. 

 

8:00–10:00 PM
This set includes five performances by solo artists: Kris Gruen, Byland, Judd Warrick, and Kendall Jane Meade, followed by a finale performance from Foxy Shazam. 

 

Kris Gruen is a festival fan-favorite and regular performer at Music Lodge, with this being his 4th year on our stage. We warmly welcome him back again for our final year at Park City.

 

Foxy Shazam performances at Music Lodge are being filmed for the PENYC Sessions web series.

Foxy Shazam a six-member, full-throttle band with a rich, expansive sound—featuring a full complement of instruments, including trumpet. HBO Max's Peacemaker Season 2 opening title features their high-energy track “Oh Lord,” which helps set the tone for the series, and the band also appears performing in the season finale.  Within the DC Universe, James Gunn’s Superman includes a Foxy Shazam–featured theme on the soundtrack, along with a cameo appearance as Clark Kent’s favorite band, The Mighty Crabjoys.

10:30 PM–12:00 AM
The late-night set features three performances by solo artists Brooklyn Dylan and Ashley Paul, with a special spotlight performance by Latin Grammy winner and 3 x Latin Grammy nominee, Paulina Aguirre, who will premiere a new song introducing a stylized, genre-defying sound. Paulina won for Best Christian Album  (Spanish Language) for her album Esperando Tu Voz   (Waiting For Your Voice), marking her as the first Ecuadorian artist to win the prestigious award.
